Yes wonderful letter. We really need to be focusing on developing alternative energy. We really needed the money squandered by George W. Bush to fund energency programs to immediately stop climate change. What George W. Bush has done, is criminal in every sense of the word. He has squandered every American's opportunity to live a decent life by ignoring the Kyoto protocol and every and all climate professionals that give their lives to understanding these issues by instead waging war against a helpless country. We need the help of the media to get real issues to the people so that we can immediately start building real solutions to a real global castrophy that is about to engulf us. Please CNN and all the media, we need you to challenge the auto/oil oligarchy so that we can see a future. We need all available public funds diverted away from the oil infrastructure and dirverted to responsible, viable, and sustainable transportation and energy. Please, we can't wait any longer. Help us stop this.

Thanks, Mr. O'Connor...Great list of questions. I do wonder why many Americans believed much of the "facts" portrayed about this illegal war in the first place! It did seem as if most Americans were ignorant (by choice) and it is up to mainstream to inform them. I appreciate this article.

Just yesterday I was sent an e-mail alert from the group SHAC7.com along with an article by Canadian journalist Tom Wolcam re: the trial and conviction of these animal activists in New Jersey. He writes for the Toronto Star. It was the first unbiased coverage of this issue I've seen in the mainstream media, and there has been very little coverage in the U.S. I wrote him a "thank you" for the article. You are so right! The media in this country - the obvious exceptions being the alternative media - is a collective ramble of hype and answering to their financial masters. Thank you for your work! Ray Palmitier Pampa, Texas
