I saw where one commenter, Bob Simpson, mentioned that a country without binding values and divided against itself will be destroyed. I beleive that truth is a binding value that can ressurect this country. I think what Rory is doing bennifits all of us because we do need those binding values. I think the authors of our Copnstitution had hoped that they would instill binding values into the framework of the United States. Unfortunately for much much too long we have just sat by and watched as the binding values of this country were flushed away by some who wished to enjoy the benefits of being part of a union of people without having to accept the responsibility of submitting to the rules and regulations of that union. Truth means that you haven't in some way injurred me in some way that I couldn't know. Truth means that we have nothing to hide. Truth means that we are all playing by the same rules. Truth means that we are all confederates in life and that we are all working toward our collective well being. Anyting else is corruption and deception which leads to loss of faith in each other and loss of faith in our collective union which leads to dissolution of union. The one thing that could possibly give hope back to the poeple of this country is to see George W. Bush impeached for high crimes against the United States and then turn him over to the Haig war crimes tribunal. Then his fate is in their collective hands and we can begin rebuilding without fear of another tyrant abusing the good faith of the American people. The so-called al-Qaeda lead reminds one of the laughable audio played by Colin Powell during his infamous speech at the UN on March 5, 2003. I laughed all through that ridiculous speech. The US media called it a "slam dunk." The only thing that speech did was destroy the credibility of the US in foreign relations for decades to come. Judith Miller allowed herself to be used as a mouthpiece for US aggression against two defenseless and innocent nations. Shock and Awe was simply a giant dumping operation for our surplus weapons. The US Treasury was then raided to pay our World War Machine to build more engines of death and destruction. Meanwhile, the real perpetrators of the 9/11 attacks are still at large and living well right here in America. Has it ever struck anyone as odd that NO ARAB, including Osama bin Laden, has EVER taken full credit for those 9/11 attacks? While you try answering that question, try fitting a 128 foot wide, 145 foot long and 57 foot tall jumbo jet into that 20 foot wide and 30 foot tall hole at the Pentagon.
