Savage Weiner Nation

I wanted to talk to Michael Savage and Bill O’Reilly — but they were too busy talking to talk.
I wanted to ask talk show host Savage (born Michael Alan Wiener) about his continuing attacks on gay parenting and LGBT people in general. And I wanted to ask talk show host O’Reilly about the “white, Christian, male power structure” he says he’s a part of.
But first Mr. Savage Weiner. His daily syndicated radio show ‘Savage Nation’ appears on about 350 stations, reaching an estimated eight million listeners weekly. The program is syndicated by Talk Radio Network, which also distributes Laura Ingraham’s right-wing chat show.
Savage Weiner was up to his usual, well, savage tricks on Savage Nation last week, again calling gay parenting “child abuse,” echoing remarks he originally made during the February 26 program.
This time, Weiner’s savagery was unleashed in response to remarks by Republican presidential candidate and former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney. Romney, whose stance on gay issues apparently varies depending on which office he’s currently seeking, responded to a mother from New Hampshire who asked about his opposition to gay marriage by referring to same-sex parenting as part of “the American way” and an example of “freedom of choice.”
Cynthia Fish, a lesbian mother of a 6 and 8 year-old, asked Romney to “explain to me more, why if we are sending our troops over to fight for liberty and justice for all throughout this country, why not for me? Why not for my family?”
According to the Associated Press, “Romney paused, asked Fish about her children and then praised her.
‘Wonderful,’ Romney said. ‘I’m delighted that you have a family and you’re happy with your family. That’s the American way…. People can live their lives as they choose and children can be a great source of joy, as you know. And I welcome that.’”
He then stated his belief that “Marriage is an institution which is designed to bring a man and woman together to raise a child and that the ideal setting for society at large is where there is a male and a female are associated with the development and nurturing a child.”
But — to the dismay of Savage Weiner — Romney didn’t stop there.
“There are other ways to raise kids, that’s fine,” Romney continued. “Single moms, grandparents raising kids, gay couples raising kids. That’s the American way, to have people have their freedom of choice.”
To Savage Weiner, however, the only “proper answer” for Romney would have been to tell Ms. Fish that her parenting is “child abuse.” What is needed, according to Savage Weiner, is “a conservative candidate all the way who would say to a gay woman: ‘You know what? I’m very sorry for your children. I think it’s child abuse for you to raise children.’”
He added that truly conservative candidate would have also said, “Marriage is a fragile institution and I think you’re making a mockery of it in this manner by doing this.”
Savage Weiner is nothing if not consistent. On the February 26 edition of his show, he said: “I want to puke when I hear about a woman married to a woman raising children because, frankly, I think that it’s child abuse to do that to children without their permission.”
Among his previous comments, Savage has called a transgender murder victim a “psychopath” and a “freak,” blamed sexual reassignment surgery for the Columbine massacre, and agreed with a caller that gay rabbis would likely “rap[e] teenage boys.”
Savage Nation is the third most-listened-to talk radio show in the nation, behind only The Rush Limbaugh Show and The Sean Hannity Show. There was no response to repeated requests to speak with the program’s host. Perhaps the title should be changed to “Weiner Nation?”
Now on to another popular right-wing ranter my fellow Flyer Bill O’Reilly (we went to the same high school – but one of us went seriously wrong…) A few weeks ago, I requested an interview with him as well, citing my interest in writing about conservative talk show hosts, “in the wake of the recent Imus affair, FCC concerns, and so on…”
David Tabacoff, Executive Producer of both the Fox News “The O’Reilly Factor” and the syndicated program “The Radio Factor,” replied as follows:
“Dear Rory:
Bill appreciates your interest in him for the story you are writing on talk radio hosts. However, given his very busy schedule on radio and tv in the coming months, it would be difficult to provide the kind of access you need to make him the focus of your piece, so we’re going to have to pass on this one.”
Too bad — among the things I would have liked to ask Bill about is his penchant for penchant for name-calling (8.88 times per minute, according to one study!)
But what I really would have liked to ask Bill about (after he finished telling me to “Shut Up!!”) is his recent on-air Fox News discussion with John McCain about immigration. O’Reilly began by saying he would ask McCain about “objections from the right and from the left” to the immigration bill under consideration in Congress.
On the right, according to O’Reilly, those objections include the claim that “we are rewarding bad behavior” in offering citizenship to lawbreakers. Meanwhile, on the left, according to O’Reilly, “The objection is there’s not enough illegal immigrants here…’
But near the end of the segment, as seen in this clip McCain’s campaign posted, O’Reilly then asked McCain, “But do you understand what the New York Times wants, and the far-left want? They want to break down the white, Christian, male power structure, which you’re a part, and so am I, and they want to bring in millions of foreign nationals to basically break down the structure that we have.”
If Bill O’Reilly and Michael Savage Weiner really are part of the “white, Christian, male power structure,” I’d like to volunteer to help break down that structure as well. So here’s a question for two top talkers too reticent to talk — Where do we sign up?

Rory, it gets even better than you think.
Just this past weekend, June 8th and 9th, the entire talk radio industry from all over the country gathered at the Marriot near Ground Zero for the purpose of bequeathing to Michael Savage the Talkers Magazine Free Speech Award.
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=michael+savage+free+speech+award&btnG=Google+Search
This is who the talk radio “community” seeks out to give special honors.
And it is people like this on the public airwaves who bullshit people into supporting needless war and needless murder.
These lowlifes, almost completely unchallenged in their bullshit, get to define “patriotism” for our citizens.
The individuals…managers and owners…who inflict this poison on America (and the world) should be challenged and embarrassed by a peoples’ movement to demand truth on the public airwaves instead of the pure, hate-filled swill of Savage et al.
June 12th, 2007 at 7:51 amWhile it does not mention O’Reilly or Savage, you might enjoy reading my take on the latest Republican candidates’ so-called debate.
9 June 2007
Men in Black
By Phil Linehan
The Republican hopefuls, all dressed in black,
once again lined up to go on the attack.
Each tried to persuade voters he was the one
who as presidential candidate should be chosen to run.
Were they conscious of what they were putting at stake
as they all turned up dressed as if attending a wake?
Did it dawn on them perhaps, as they fought for the prize,
they were paving the way for their Party’s demise?
Questions were asked and answers provided.
A pity they hardly ever coincided.
The performers obviously decided if they could not reply,
on obscuring the issue they could always rely.
Mitt Romney began the debate with not one guilty blink,
as he assured us the country had been brought to the brink
when Saddam Hussein threw weapons inspectors out in a rush
although that deed had been done by President George W. Bush.
When the WMDs were not found by Hans Blix
George, backed by poodle pal Blair, on him put the nix.
Three days later on Iraq Bush launched his crusade
as he and Tony kneeled together and unctuously prayed.
So Romney started out by proving he is a liar,
no impediment, of course, for a Republican high flyer.
This proves that the Mormons, who don’t doubt Adam’s rib,
do not have any Commandant saying Thou Shalt Not Fib.
Ringmaster Wolf Blitzer said not a word to refute
and let Romney go on as if the question was not in dispute.
Which only confirms that very old saw
that a lie constantly repeated ends up as the law.
That immigrants must go, except for McCain, all the others agreed
even though each one of them knows they meet a desperate need.
As Tom Tancredo asserts no illegal can be allowed to remain as a dweller,
may one ask whether he includes the ones who remodelled his cellar?
Romney says those ejected will be replaced by others in a long queue
who are impatiently waiting for their visas to come through.
Does he mean Russian organized crime members one may well ask?
For them entering the U.S. seems no difficult task.
As Tom rants and raves that legals should also be thrown out
of his hatred of immigrants he leaves not a doubt.
Bilingualism, he swears, will lead the country into the abyss.
Let’s hope someone remembers to tell that to the Swiss.
Could his virulent anti-immigrant aggression
be caused by his mental illness and depression
that he used as an excuse to avoid Vietnam combat
and stay safely at home like a comfy house cat?
Though no obstacle, we know, to becoming a president.
that he still is deranged is startlingly evident.
But, instead of opening the White House door and letting him in
would it not be kinder to confine him to a secure loony bin?
Romney claims that the economy would get up off its knees
if the U.S. could sell products to a billion Chinese.
The problem, dear Mitt, is who you could get to produce
if the millions of immigrants do not get a truce.
With his sepulchral grin Rudy tries us all to enthral
but manages instead to make our flesh crawl.
He says success will follow and all obstacles we’ll surmount
if we only apply ourselves and learn how to count.
The answer, he claims, and it’s not just a hunch,
is to collect all the numbers and proceed them to crunch.
Was he joking, perhaps? No, I am afraid he was serious
which proves once again he’s completely delirious.
He believes Scooter Libby got a raw deal indeed
and should be released with all possible speed.
So the stern Federal Prosecutor tries in no way to conceal
that he thinks committing perjury is no very big deal.
He would prevent immigrants coming with evil intention
though how this could be known he did not deign to mention.
Is putting an X in a box asking if their intent is nefarious
yet another of Rudy’s suggestions hilarious?
The border wall, which Duncan Hunter would double, is essential they say
if the country is to keep terrorists at bay.
Do they mean that if it had been built in 2001
the planes into the Towers could never have run?
A claim that the recent JFK plot, or should I say flop,
thought up, it seems, by some Karibbean Keystone Kop,
could not have been devised if the wall had existed
would be proof, if it were needed, that their reasoning is twisted.
When Giuliani’s and Tancredo’s grandparents sailed, steerage, from Naples
unable to provide their poor families with the most basic of staples,
they hoped to find succour on a welcoming shore
but were greatly resented by those who had got there before.
Just think, if their forebears had decided to stay put
and on the American continent had not set a foot,
we would not now have to listen to Tom and Rudy as they bleat
and that, I am sure most would agree, would be a real treat.
On immigration and language McCain was the only one making sense
and was also coherent about the wall which they insist is a fence.
When it came to Iraq the lucidity did not very long last
and he again left the planet in an ear-deafening blast.
As John keeps insisting it is on the right track
Ron Paul, fortunately, continues his opposition to the war in Iraq.
He is also the only one who talks perfect sense
when he says nuking Iran would be a stupid offence.
Might Sam Brownback and Mike Huckabee start a revolution
against all those who believe in evolution?
Tommy Thompson looked as if he would go off his head
as Wolf Blitzer kept mentioning his namesake Fred.
They believe in a God who is, of course, white, Christian and, obviously, male,
and all are sure that of His support they can avail.
So you myriad voters who profess other faiths, or none,
now know exactly the names of those you should shun.
When Wolf asked them what they would do, if elected, with Bush
over the Republican stalwarts there fell a great hush.
Then Tancredo declared he would George from the White House banish
but declined to confirm that he hoped he’d just vanish.
Jim Gilmore, in a statement verging on the surreal,
might ask him to talk to the young about integrity and honesty, how not to steal.
Brownback said he’d send him to places where tragedies take place
hoping, one must suppose, he’d be lost without trace.
Apart from Romney’s brilliant idea to flood the market in Beijing
June 12th, 2007 at 2:21 pmof the economy none of them mentioned a thing.
Blitzer did not ask whether they had pondered the dollar’s sad fate
as it is dumped as a reserve by state after state.
Rory:
What makes you think you have a handle on everything? Dr. Savage and Bill O’Rielly speak for millions of us who believe there is lots wrong with our country. You have a right to your thoughts but so do we. I would say on the issue of lesbains rearing children…If there is a good heterosexual role model in the picture who could help balance out the children’s sexual orientation it is not so bad. Children have a lot to bear when they grow up. Just being different in any way is such a hardship on the child. Unfortunately, the child is not the issue but the selfishness of the person who wants to prove to the world they are a good parent is the issue. The stigma has not gone away but gone underground. But I will say that I know people who are gay who have parented their children well. Being gay should not in any way be the objective but being a good parent is.
Savage and O’Rielly have the right to free speech. If you try to stop their freedom of speech then millions of people will rise up against you and you will not be better for it. This country is on the brink of civil war right now.
June 12th, 2007 at 3:05 pmInteresting you should mention “civil war.” Some people are gunning for any war the right wing can stir up by the divisions they cause in this country. Keeps us from looking at them and their actions.
June 12th, 2007 at 4:03 pmWhile Phil Lineham may not mention Savage or O’Reilly, he certainly does make it abundantly clear that he has no time for anybody professing a conservative thought. All 10 Republican hopefuls for President represent a far better caliber of people that the hopefuls the Left Wing democrats give us!
June 12th, 2007 at 4:13 pmI believe Savage is correct. We see many organizations step forward with volunteers to take up the slack when a father is absent for a very good reason. Children do need a male and female figure in their lives. Sexually absorbed people miss it when it comes to a family.
June 12th, 2007 at 5:10 pmHey love who you want, but let the children at least have a chance at recognizing what a family unit consits of.
The only real abuse is listening to these talking heads.
Parents come in all shapes, sizes, and gender bias. There are some hetero parents that abuse their kids worse than any gay couple ever could.
But these miscreants we call talk show hosts (on both sides of the spectrum) need to pander to their listeners, no matter how stupid the issue is.
But then again this is lost on those who think one political party has the moxie over the other. Both are equally as bad and equally as good. It depends on what you call political saavy and electability.
June 12th, 2007 at 6:00 pmIt’s simply perposterous to assume or espouse the shortsighted meme that heterosexuals are particularly suited to be parents and gay people are not.
June 12th, 2007 at 6:04 pmOne’s sexuality has absolutely nothing to do parenting. Parenting has to do with parenting.
I’d have MUCH rather been brought up with two lesbians than have to live through my father’s and abuse, and at 7 years old my mother and I DANCED in the middle of our front yard the day we went to the mailbox, opened the letter and saw the big gold seal on her divorce papers. The happiest years of my life were when we lived WITHOUT some ass-clown of a man mucking things up.
Raising kids is completly about the quality of parenting, NOT a parent’s sexuality.
Want proof? Check out the fucked up country we live in, created majorally by people raised by breeders! Oops…I mean herterosexuals.
I believe the bible to be the word of God. Every country which goes against God’s Word is destroyed. I am so sad for America . There are many in our country which do not abide by God’s commandments and it is a scary time. Being a homsexual is a sin…However one can repent and sin no more and God will not only forgive but remember the sin no more.
June 12th, 2007 at 8:36 pmI pray that America will wake up and abide by the commands of our one and only God.
D L Calhoun… (head shaking)…
June 12th, 2007 at 8:51 pm“Left-Wing Democrats?” Are you serious? Do people really think that the Democrats are left-wing?? Follow the money and you’ll get the truth. You have not only sipped the kool-aid, you’re drowning in it. Just like FOX NEWS you believe that left vs. right is Republican vs Democrat. To believe that the REP vs DEM World Heavyweight Championship is any sort of balanced competition is nothing short of a practice in egregious self-delusion.
Get out from under the rock! Open yer eyes matie.. Thar be no left wing on Capital Hill..
You have made me feel so much better by exposing Michael “Weiner” duplicitous use of one of my proud Irish family’s name: Savage.
June 12th, 2007 at 11:43 pmI am sure my great grandfather Phillip Savage Walsh is rejoycing in heaven!
What makes either of these guys any different than the left-wing radio personnel? Many people think the left is nuts, so it’s really just a matter of opinion. Obviously, you’re lean toward the liberal. What I’d like to see is a time when people don’t bad-mouth each other and just let people state their beliefs. An election with candidates who simply state what they stand for, without bashing the other candidates, would be a dream come true. Maybe freedom of speech has gone too far. I believe the way we bash each other in radio, tv, newpapers, etc., leaves us open to ridicule in other countries. Why should they respect us when we don’t even stand together as a country. It’s very sad what we’ve come to as a nation.
June 13th, 2007 at 8:40 amI’m so sick of the ‘my team’ mentality in this country that has been perpetuated by the 2 political parties and the major media-all for the own greedy purposes, not for the betterment of this country. And I’m shamed by all the ignorant citizens out there who have fallen in the trap of thinking ‘my team’ first beore examining what people are saying on the basis of knowledge, facts, evidence, and historical context. And Sue, just letting people state their beliefs is one thing, but if they’re saying something obviously incorrect, or misleading, do you think it’s OK to let that stand, leaving others remain misinformed? We have enough misinformed people out there, just the way this administration (and others) and corporate America wants us. Time to grow up folks and use your brain; think for yourselves. Repeating soundbytes made by commentators who purposely stir things up for their ratings lends nothing to anyone trying to have a real discussion about the problems facing this country.
June 13th, 2007 at 10:10 amBravo for both Savage and O’Reilly! Believe it or not, they speak for a large percentage of “regular folks” out here in the heartland of the country.
June 13th, 2007 at 10:10 amHOrray for oreilly and savage and rush and hannity. they speak for the true americans in this country. proud to listen to them and agree with most of what they say. they are not traitors or whimps like the left. people wake up before we are doomed.
June 13th, 2007 at 11:24 am“Now on to another popular right-wing ranter my fellow Flyer Bill O’Reilly (we went to the same high school – but one of us went seriously wrong…)
And YOU, Mr. O’Connor are the one that went VERY wrong.
“If Bill O’Reilly and Michael Savage Weiner really are part of the “white, Christian, male power structure,” I’d like to volunteer to help break down that structure as well. So here’s a question for two top talkers too reticent to talk — Where do we sign up? ”
The better question is where do we sign up to get assholes likr yourself kicked out of the country.
Mr. O’Connor - please, do us all a favor and just SHUT THE FUCK UP. Assholes like you are why were are in some of the situations in this world that we are.
There is a reason that Savage, o”rieely, and Hannity are noumer 1 in the countyr and dipshits like Al Franken barley even register - the majority of this country still has a backbone and is able to see what pussies you liberals are.
June 13th, 2007 at 12:05 pmI think we all think that we’re right when we state an opinion. The fact that you don’t agree with it doesn’t make it wrong or misleading. I think healthy disagreement is good for the soul, however, derogatory statements against other people is what brings this country down. Do you really believe the President thinks he’s wrong? Do you really think that President Clinton thought he was wrong when in office? I could name a bunch of people who thought he was and thought he was the most embarrassing president we’ve every had; on the other hand there are also a bunch of people who thought he was the greatest thing since sliced bread. The same goes for the current administration. While some of you hate him and think he’s a fool and misleading, there are many of us who think he leads with his heart and his morals. Maybe that’s what you people don’t like about him!? Whatever….this is obviously what makes the world go round!
June 13th, 2007 at 1:39 pmWhy can’t you people just think for yourselves? Why do you have to listen to blow-hards, then turn around and spew their crap like you thought it up yourselves. You have been brainwashed! Turn off those talk shows and start paying attention to what really goes on in this country. Form your own opinions - use your brains. We, the people, have been sold down the river!
June 17th, 2007 at 10:52 amSo when is the Left gonna get a radio show, that more than two people listen to. And stays on the air for more than 30 days?
June 27th, 2007 at 8:29 pmmichael savage is a brilliant man and should appoint personaly the people who report real news to america on the tv. No greater censorship is that of the nightly news. Liberals should be ashamed of themselves not the other way around. I’m a proud christian conservative and I for one am not ashamed of my values.
July 11th, 2007 at 6:13 pmEvery article and commentary one reads today eventually sinks into a discussion concerning sex. It’s the great American obsession. I never imagined when I was a young child growing up in the 1950s watching, “Father Knowes Best,” that I would one day hear on TV, “If you got a hard on for four hours see your doctor immediately.” There is no modesty left in our culture, a culture obsessed sexually. However, believe me when I say I am no prude, and I approach the matter of homosexuality from a practical point of view rather than a theological one. If you can prove to me that a penus was designed for insertion into any other oriface other than a vagina, then I will agree that homosexual unions are acceptable. And would anyone condemn me for pointing out that if everyone embraced the homosexual lifestyle, the result would be the extinction of the human species from Planet Earth, the negation of billions of years of evolution. Please! Please! Some of you liberals out there enlighten me about this matter and set me onto the path of truth.
July 20th, 2007 at 12:30 amTruth hurts doesn’t it???
August 1st, 2007 at 8:17 pmSavage is right. (as always)
Nothing can warp a childs mind more than being told, that he has two mothers (or fathers)
Child abuse of the worst kind.
August 10th, 2007 at 11:37 amIt’s America you know free speech for everyone including people who don’t agree with you. You pass all the laws you just like Canada has twisting the definition of hate speech, bring back the fairness doctrine to silence one side of tghe loitical spectrum as the Democrats are trying to do. The Democrats wanting to bring back the fairness doctrine, this has to tell a lot about what the Democratic Party stands for if you can ever get over your blind politiical allegiance. The Democratic Party is the so called “Main Stream Media”.
August 26th, 2007 at 7:37 amThe two worst foes of a democracy are: when the media becomes a plotical party and lying is an acceptable form of speech. We have managed to get both in the last 15 years. The Democrat Media and 98 percent of the lying is from the Democrat side.
Michael Savage does not think too highly of O’Reilly, Limbaugh or President Bush. The Savage Nation is part entertainment - part information, like other talk radio programs. Now if you don’t appreciate freedom of speech, I can see why you resort to name anti-semitic name calling (Weiner)…yeah, we all know Mike is Jewish so your using his real name is gratuitous. Unlike the programed leftists and neo-cons, Mike Savage is a true, indepedant and courageous voice. You know, being against the gay political agenda isn’t the same as being hatefull of homosexuals. I think you’re problem with Savage has more to do with your leftist social agenda, which as we all know by now tends to bring out the Stalinist in certain folks. N’est Pas?
October 10th, 2007 at 9:48 amhttp://www.hotconflict.com/blog/2007/10/audio-about-isl.html
I am always happy to listen to Doctor Michael Savage talk. There is no better radio call in show on the air live. Just because I like Doctor Savage does not mean I agree with all of his opinions. Being a Muslim involved in the politics of change and active in the Islamic community, some of his comments are totally outrageous. Yet, he says everything with such pizazz, you cant help but love it.
October 10th, 2007 at 5:41 pmHello all,
January 8th, 2008 at 9:42 pmI will explain the difference between liberals and conservatives. Liberals if they had their say would only allow expression of their viewpoints and attempt through law to silence all others. Conservatives may not agree with liberal voices however, will die to defend their right to have a voice!
Its all show business. The people in talk radio are about ratings and dollars and they will say and do what ever it takes to make a buck no matter who it hurts or how much it damages the country. They say things to stir up anger in people to keep the country divided which suits the power structure just fine. Talk radio is a racket controlled by the thugs who run this nation. Then when the mics are off a lot of these right wing talkers lead lives so full of hypocrisy that if the average listener knew it they would change the station back over to music and put ‘em all back on welfare for good.
January 14th, 2008 at 8:20 pmThank God narrow-focused, self-absorbed, nature-defying people will always be in the minority. If we immediately turned the direction of this great country over to those who think like you, we’d be consumed and over-run by our enemines in no time. (And there are a few we really need to keep at bay). Why don’t you apply more of your reasoning skills to understanding what went wrong early in your life. There are much bigger issues for us to deal with as a nation than your need to have heterosexuals forced to accept your particular perversions.
January 16th, 2008 at 8:59 amNothing ever impacts me as much as the rantings of the obviously (or avowed) republican against the ‘liberal’. It never ceases to amaze exactly how little intelligence goes into the commentary, and how much unrestrained emotion finds voice.
The bible as the literal truth? Sure, I don’t mind if that’s what you believe - but the same freedom that is afforded to you must be afforded to me as well - and my choice is to believe that the bible is a book, written by men, and propagated by men and is of no particular value above any other book that espouses the ‘right way to live’. That it may have gotten it right is secondary to the discussion of choice.
Denying me my choice is no different than me denying yours. The vehemence you bring to your beliefs is no greater or no more righteous than I bring to mine, no matter whose name you do it in.
Claiming that homosexuality has a bearing on actual parenting skills beyond the physical act of being able to *have* a child is another favorite topic of mine to watch the religious and conservatives go crazy about.
By that measure of thinking, a male-female couple that are unable to produce their own offspring should not be permitted to raise children they adopt. They are every bit as unable to have children.
But no, you rabid homo-haters would rather have hundreds, thousands of children cared for by ‘the state’ through foster homes, or to be left in the hands of abusive heterosexual couples - better the father be raping the children and the mother complacent than to place the children with two caring lesbian women. Nothing as damaging as having two mothers or two fathers? My money is on you never having spoken to a victim of abuse, nor will you ever deign to challenge yourself in that way.
And all in the name of a religion that, honestly, not any of you follow the teachings of - your compassion is saved for those you believe deserve it, and not those who you personally have no pity for, your willingness to help does not extend to those you deem ‘untouchable’. You do not help the leper, you do not approach the sick, the weak, the less fortunate. At most, you drop the price of a latte or three into a collection plate or, worse yet, volunteer your services to an organization that does not help people if they are not of the ‘right’ religious affiliation and somehow still convince yourself that you are doing God’s work.
Jesus, if he watches you, is ashamed at your duplicity and twisting of His teachings. If there is truly justice in God, it will come when you are shown the injustices you do in the light of a truly compassionate and caring person and have the litany against you read aloud, while you feel the same exclusion and hatred that you have brought against others, in the name of their salvation but in the face of their suffering.
The only person that Jesus assured entry into heaven was the thief on the cross next to his - and that most definitely is not you.
Now, go about your day and pray that I am saved, or pray that I melt in hell, but know that all your heated emotion, all your talk of salvation and following your path to truth matters no more or less than my attempt to reason with you.
We are both zealots, and I no more obnoxious than you.
January 16th, 2008 at 9:51 pmMale power? It doesn’t exist matey.
Not in this God-forsaken Matriarchy that is the Western World!
March 5th, 2008 at 4:56 pm
